LounasOpas is a search service that gathers the lunch menus of Finnish restaurants into one place. We don't write the menus ourselves and charge nothing for them – we present the lunch information restaurants publish themselves in a searchable form.
All lunch menus, prices and opening hours are collected from restaurants' own official sources — their websites and other public listings.
We collect the lunch menus automatically from restaurants' own websites and other public sources, extract the dishes and prices, and check every menu before it is published. Menus that fail the check are not shown.
Data is checked and updated every week so lunch menus stay current.
Lunch menus are refreshed every week, keyed to each ISO week. When a restaurant's new menu isn't out yet, we show its most recently published lunch menu and clearly label which week it is from – an old menu is never presented as today's lunch.
We currently list over 3,600 lunch places across 179 towns.
